AC repair is the call you don't want to make — late, in 40°C, with a sweating family in the lounge. It also tends to be the call where you get the worst price, because the firm on the other end knows you can't wait three days for a quote.

Same-day emergency repair
AC not cooling, leaking water, tripping the breaker — WhatsApp us with the symptom and a photo. We triage, quote a likely cost, and dispatch a technician same-day in Dubai (typically 2–4 hours), within 24 hours elsewhere.
Scheduled preventive maintenance
Coil cleaning (indoor + outdoor units), gas pressure check, drain-line flush, thermostat calibration, electrical contactor test. Twice a year for split units, annually for central + chiller. Catches 80% of failures before they happen.
AC deep-clean / chemical wash
Full chemical clean of the indoor coil and the drain pan, fan motor balance, blower-wheel clean. Restores cooling efficiency on units that have been running on dirty coils — often the cheapest way to defer a compressor replacement.
Gas top-up & leak diagnosis
R-410A standard, R-32 for newer units. Leak detection with electronic and UV-dye methods if the unit's losing gas faster than expected.
Compressor & PCB replacement
Quoted on inspection. Most modern split compressors are replaceable individually; older units often hit the economic-replacement threshold and we'll say so plainly.
Central AC, chiller & FAHU work
Coordinate FAHU access with the building's facility team, work on district-cooling in-unit equipment (Empower / Tabreed / Emicool service their chiller plants separately), and service ducted central systems with full duct inspection.

Diagnose, quote, repair on the spot where possible
Coil clean, gas top-up, capacitor replacement, contactor swap, drain-line flush — all standard on-the-van. Compressor, PCB, expansion-valve work is quoted on the spot and scheduled.
Warranty + AMC option
30-day workmanship warranty on every repair. AMC conversion option — if you'd rather not pay per call-out, your annual coverage starts the day after the repair.
Sharjah-specific notes
A lot of Sharjah's apartment stock runs 8-to-12-year-old split-system ACs. The single most impactful intervention on these is a proper chemical coil clean — restores cooling capacity and defers a compressor replacement in roughly 70% of cases. We default to suggesting a coil clean before quoting a compressor swap.

Everything you'd want to ask
Most common: dirty coil reducing heat exchange (cheapest fix — a coil clean restores 80% of these). Next: low refrigerant from a slow leak (gas top-up + leak diagnosis). Then: faulty capacitor on the outdoor unit (a 30-minute replacement). Compressor failure is the worst case but the rarest — usually only on units 8+ years old that haven't had preventive servicing.
In-unit split systems: every 6 months. Central AC and FAHU systems: annually with quarterly inspection. Coastal-villa outdoor units (RAK, Fujairah): quarterly coil clean is the only thing that gets you to year 8 without a compressor replacement. Skipping servicing on UAE AC is the single biggest predictor of premature compressor failure.
Call-out from AED 150 (waived if work proceeds). Coil clean from AED 129. Gas top-up from AED 299. Capacitor replacement from AED 199. Compressor replacement quoted on inspection (usually AED 1,200–2,500). We quote before we proceed.
Almost always a blocked drain line — the condensate water can't drain so it overflows the pan. A drain-line flush (AED 99) fixes it in 30 minutes. Less commonly: a frozen evaporator coil (caused by low refrigerant or dirty filter) thaws and the meltwater overwhelms the drain.
Mould or bacterial buildup on the evaporator coil and in the drain pan. A chemical wash (coil clean + drain treatment) eliminates the smell within hours. Long-term fix: a regular cleaning schedule plus a UV-light treatment for chronic cases.
District cooling (Empower, Tabreed, Emicool) splits into two parts: the chiller plant itself is the provider's responsibility, billed via the chiller account. The in-unit fan-coil, thermostat, drain line and ductwork are yours (or the landlord's, depending on the tenancy). We service the in-unit equipment; the chiller plant is the provider's call.
No permit for in-unit servicing and repair (coil clean, gas, capacitor, drain). Major electrical work — re-wiring the unit, replacing the isolator switch, working on the building's electrical panel — needs a DEWA / SEWA / ADDC / FEWA permit depending on the emirate; we handle the permit pull as part of the quote.
For central-system common-area equipment: yes — that's the building's responsibility. For in-unit AC inside a leased apartment: usually the landlord's (per the tenancy contract) for major-system repair, and the tenant's for consumables (filters, light replacements, monthly cleaning if specified). The boundary is in your tenancy contract — we tell you which side a job falls on before we proceed.

We focus on residential — apartments and villas. We can handle small commercial (a single retail shop, a small office) but we won't quote you on a building-wide central system or a chiller plant; those are facility-management contracts and we'd refer you to a specialist.
